Chubz & Friends was created by Rachel Day to honour the legacy of a very special Yorkiepoo.

 

 

Rachel is certified in Pet First Aid and CPR, and has completed a diploma in Dog Walking and Pet Sitting. A life long animal lover and pet owner, Rachel is an ongoing supporter of several animal charities including The Donkey Sanctuary, RSPCA and Battersea Cats and Dogs Home. In 2013 she volunteered at local animal sanctuary and rehoming centre All Creatures Great & Small, and later as their Fundraising Officer between 2016 and 2019. She holds a fully enhanced DBS certificate and is registered with the update service. This means that a full DBS check is carried out every year. Rachel's past work experience includes marketing, vocal coaching and the education sector, working with children ages 2-16. She is fully insured for dog walking and pet sitting and holds a full, clean driving licence.

Rachel currently teaches singing and works in film and television.

 

Her long-term goal is to expand Chubz & Friends with new dog walkers and pet sitters offering high quality pet services, including specialised senior care and hospice care. Following the passing of her beloved Yorkiepoo Chubz, Rachel felt inspired to continue providing love and care to furry friends within the community in his memory.
